Adobe has outlined its plans to offer two versions of Photoshop CS3 when it is released later this year. In addition to the standard edition, imaging professionals and enthusiasts will have the option of a yet more comprehensive tool in the form of an extended version. This is said to build on the already bulging feature set by adding 3-D and motion graphics oriented capabilities as well as allowing image measurement and analysis. Adobe say they are aiming to simplify imaging in the architectural, engineering, medical and scientific industries whilst continuing to cater to their core following of graphic and multimedia artists.
Kodak this season is putting something out for the picture crazy in all of us. They have a Kodak Digital picture frame. If you have a Kodak camera or have Kodak’s only photo gallery it is free to use. This new frame is free, and is WIFI and SD. So it’ll connect to the internet, and rotate picture through. So you could take a set of pictures, put them in an album and it’ll show your favorite vacation, or your favorite people in crisp color. So, Why decide what to put in a frame? Have the ability to put every picture in a frame. Just remember, if you don’t have Wireless capability at your house, you need SD memory or you can’t use this.
Digital cameras have made more photographer converts of people than any thing else. The ease to upload on to the computer the hundreds of pictures that can be clicked and stored on memory stick has made us all want to learn more about photography.
But then all’s not true to this we do have loads of bad pictures that range from blurred to red-eye to poorly exposed to downright ugly pictures. So manufacturers of cameras are coming up with newer technology to make all of us professional photographers in 2007.
The face detection technology on Fuji’s new Z-series pocket cameras can identify up to 10 human faces in the viewfinder and adjust picture settings automatically to ensure that the faces are in focus and properly exposed, even against light backgrounds.
Slowly the focus is shifting from how many megapixels to have in a camera to have Image stabilisation, automatic ISO correction, and other features being implemented to help photographers avoid blurry pictures that result from camera shake in light that is too low.

The Graphics N Graphics Design Blog has posted a long list of free stock photo sites. I’m posting this here not to be a resource to find stock photos, but rather a resource of places you can submit your own stock photos. Not all of the sites on that long list allow photographers to submit their own photos, but there are several on that list that do allow submissions.
Also linked is this collection of articles relating to finding and using stock photography, pictures, and clipart.
